Assignments can be cancelled at any time by either the candidate or the customer although Orkney Business Ring – Labour Agency Ltd requests that they are given as much notice as possible.

If a candidate is unhappy on an assignment they should contact Orkney Business Ring – Labour Agency Ltd in the first instance and we will try to rectify any issues although the candidate is quite entitled to say that they no longer wish to carry on with the assignment.

A customer can cancel an assignment at any time. Should a candidate’s normal working day be 8am until 5pm and the customer informs the candidate at the end of the day that they are no longer needed then there is no obligation but should the customer inform the candidate during the working day they are obliged to:

A: Allow the candidate to finish the normal working day
Or
B: Allow the candidate to finish immediately but pay them up until the end of that working day.
